She attended the Music School of Serres and then trained at the School of FIlm AUTh, where she gained her Bachelor degree with specialization in sound. She also holds an MBA in hospitality and tourism. Her main fields of interest are sound design, location sound recording and foley effects for short films, feature films and documentaries. Her works are closely related to realism, imaginary at all of its levels, music, as well as the human emotion given through the art of sound. However, Dafni has a particular fondness for earlier eras and their soundscapes. During the last ten years she has been working in several films and theatre plays as a location sound recordist, a sound designer and a foley actress. One of her greatest experience was in "The two faces of January" film shootings where she worked as a sound assistant next to the Academy Awarded Sound recordist, Ray Beckett.
